Cam-It sells dash cams and related products and carries out professional fitting and installation work on vehicles, both in its own workshop in Arnhem and on location at the customer's premises.
2. Applicable terms and conditions
Our general terms and conditions apply to all our offers, agreements, deliveries and installation services. The returns and right of withdrawal policy, the delivery and installation policy, the cancellation policy for purchase options and the privacy policy form an integral part of them. All documents can be consulted and saved via our website and will be sent free of charge on request.
3. Applicable law
3.1 Dutch law applies to all legal relationships between Cam-It and its customers. The applicability of the Vienna Sales Convention (CISG) is excluded.
3.2 If you are a consumer and you live in another Member State of the European Union, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
4. Disputes
4.1 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Gelderland.
4.2 If you are a consumer, you have one month after Cam-It invokes this choice of forum in which to opt for the dispute to be settled by the court having jurisdiction under the law.
4.3 We always try to resolve any dispute by mutual agreement first. Therefore, always contact our customer service before taking legal action.
5. Out-of-court dispute resolution
5.1 The European ODR platform for online dispute resolution was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used. Any reference to it in older documents is out of date.
5.2 Cam-It is not affiliated with a disputes committee, nor is it obliged to be.
5.3 If you are a consumer in another EU country, Norway or Iceland and we cannot reach a solution together, you can request free assistance and mediation from the European Consumer Centre in your country. For the Netherlands this is ECC Netherlands.
6. Information on this website
6.1 We compile our product information, compatibility advice, installation explanations and prices with care.
6.2 No rights can be derived from images, colours, dimensions and sample recordings; they are indicative.
6.3 Obvious mistakes, printing and typing errors and clearly incorrect prices are not binding on us.
6.4 Compatibility information about vehicles is based on the vehicle versions known to us. Manufacturers change versions during a model run; if you are in doubt, please contact us before ordering.
7. Links to third-party websites
Our website may refer to third-party websites, for example those of manufacturers. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 All rights to the content of this website — texts, photographs, videos, design, logos, product descriptions, installation instructions and the installation certificate — belong to Cam-It or its licensors.
8.2 Reproduction, duplication or publication is not permitted without our prior written consent, other than for personal, non-commercial use.
8.3 Third-party brand names and logos on this website are the property of the relevant rights holders and are used solely to identify products.
9. Use of dash cams
The use of a dash cam and of the recordings made with it is subject to rules, and these differ from country to country. The user is responsible for this. See Article 19 of our general terms and conditions and section 9 of our privacy policy.
10. Liability for this website
We make every effort to keep the website available and up to date, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or faultless operation. Our liability is governed by Article 17 of our general terms and conditions.
11. Changes
We may amend this notice. The current version is always on our website, with the date of entry into force.
In the event of any discrepancy or ambiguity, the Dutch version prevails in the interpretation and construction of this text.
